Activated carbon columns of the TAC series are designed to filter oil particles from compressed air (dry type filtration). The cases of the TAS series models are made of high quality carbon steel. With the help of flow distributors, air passes through layers of activated carbon. Separation of oil vapors and other hydrocarbons occurs as a result of the adsorption process. Before the TAC column, it is necessary to install an ultrafine coalescing filter, after TAC, it is recommended to install an activated carbon dust filter with a cleaning depth of up to 1 microns.
